Incrementando a aula de Língua Estrangeira

com o uso do computador

A tecnologia é parte das ferramentas que o professor usa para preparar suas aulas. Temos como principais ferramentas hoje o próprio professor, o livro, quadro branco e canetas, aparelhos de som e áudio, dicionários e alguns itens a mais. A proposta agora é ampliar essas ferramentas com o uso do computador.

Várias são os recursos que começam desde o uso de programas que já vêm instalados em qualquer computador a programas gratuitos especialmente desenvolvidos para educação.

Ainda precisamos dar suporte aos professores para desfrutarmos de muitas alternativas que a tecnologia nos oferece.  Alguns professores possuem habilidades mais desenvolvidas e outros ainda podem adquirir novas conquistas com o uso da tecnologia. Cito abaixo alguns procedimentos para dinamizarmos as diferentes tecnologias nos CIL.

Porque usar tecnologia?

O que os alunos almejam ter em uma escola de línguas?

• Acesso a tecnologias
• Modelos de sucesso ao praticar a língua estudada
• Exposição dessa língua de forma real e variada
• Preparo para a vida futura

O que o aluno almeja ao estudar uma língua estrangeira?

• Usar a língua de forma significativa e real
• Que o professor saiba usar alguma tecnologia em sala de aula
• Que o professor seja atualizado e que tenha E-MAIL, ORKUT e MSN, só isso?
• Escolhas

Como começar?

Muitos professores têm um pouco de receio em começar a usar a tecnologia. Alguns dizem que nunca vão acompanhar a evolução da internet. Saiba que não precisamos usar tudo que há disponível, o que precisamos é saber que temos alguns recursos que pode nos trazer resultados maravilhosos onde todos adquirem novas habilidades que são levadas para a vida. Isto é usar a tecnologia. Outros podem dizer que tem medo de se perder no meio do caminho. Começar a usar algum recurso tecnológico e depois não saber como comandar ou responder perguntas que os alunos poderão fazer. Isso pode ser um problema se esse professor não for curioso e souber desafiar seus alunos a trazerem respostas para essas perguntas. Quero te tranqüilizar que a cada dia que usamos mais as tecnologias vemos que elas são simples e mecânicas. Não é como um carro que aceleramos e podemos perder o controle e bater no poste. O computador não vai sair andando por aí. Nós controlamos tudo. Tudo é editado, melhorado, apagador e recomeçado se assim for necessário. Senhas podem ser esquisitas e recuperadas ou substituídas.

Vamos tentar:

• Começar devagar com poucas atividades
• Pedir ajuda
• Perguntar quando não souber o que fazer
• Ter contato com pessoas que usam tecnologia na educação
• Ler, reler e editar
• Explorar possibilidades
• Não ter medo de errar e arriscar

Algumas idéias

Word Processing programs: Word Office, Power Point

- aprender a formatar textos e tabelas, acrescentar imagens, mudar cores de imagens, apagar ou acrescentar linhas, etc.

Som e CDs

- usar partes de músicas para interagir com os alunos: criar CDs de aúdio

- músicas ambientes

- músicas de filmes, diferentes estilos

We had a funny day doing scrap. For many of these teachers it was the first time they decorated a page using photo and embleshiments. I can say IT WAS PRETTY GOOD!! I felt proud to give them a new experience in the world of arts.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF YOU

Our delicious pizza`s day was amazing! I had great fun.

I created these slides with our best moments on Saturday December 6th at Nona Pina Ceilandia. The Pizza`s Day was just fun and unforgetful. Click here to check out the outstanding photos.

I have great memories from that day:

Emmily and I ate ice cream with chocolate pizza.

André forgot his chocolate box due to a problem he had.

Naiara sat next to me and we talked a lot with Dayana and Dayse.

Pedro didn`t talk so much because he didn`t stop eating…. kkkkkkk no I am kidding…. Pedro gave a bar of chocolate. HE WAS MY SECRET CHOCOLATE FRIEND. I was Dayse`s – you can see it in the slide show:)

Katielle was so elegant in a different blouse. All her photos are so beautiful. Ahhh people, she wants ALL the photos…KKKKKKK

Katiúscia was the champion… I won`t say how many pieces of pizza she ate but she did a very good job… I didn`t see her eating… she knows how to do it nicely…

Janaína and Eveline were so beautiful. I saw their embrace in the pictures and I found it so sweet. Thanks God I see Eveline smiling… we love you, girl!!! Janína, thanks for all your help with hte class this semester. kisses…

Did you see Leandro`s faces in the photos? He is very funny. I saw he talked to everybody and appears in about 90% of the photos… kkkkkkk we could see you were there. thanks for being so prompt with my projects.

Nayara went to Naiara`s house with me. You are always very sweet and ready to help. Thanks a billion.

I can`t stop laughing when I see Rafael`s blonde hair. You are so funny… NEWS!!! He bought a new car and gave a ride to some of us. Congratulations country music boy!

I hope Dayana and Dayse will be my future laywers. They are so dedicated to their passion. Go for it, girls!

Do you remember our special guest??? Karlla… We smiled a lot!!!!

I missed Gilmar, Caio, Felipe, Danilo, Michael and Vivilaine a lot. As you can see, everything ends in pizza! Gilmar, you are a joy! Caio, keep fighting for what you want.  Felipe, you can relax now… Danilo, never give up your dreams. Vivi, you are so responsible with everything you do, it is an essential quality nowadays. Michael, you are an excellent person. You are always smiling. Your kindness is mpressive. Keep studying and you will get what you want:)
